Magic Card
Magic card is a home-grown project we created out of passion for magic and desire to make delightful little things. Our aim was to create a really special card for really, really special people. Something that would arrive in an envelope and genuinely surprise someone, putting a smile on their faces. Apart from that, we wished to empower people to discover magic and become magicians themselves.
But making a magic trick work without magicians isn’t easy. A lot of effort went into finding something that would allow people to perform a magic trick themselves. We experimented with many different options in the process..
Being in The Magic Circle, an exclusive society dedicated to promoting and advancing the art of magic, we were able to find a fantastic magic principle created by Mark Setteducati & Anne Benkovitz, two truly magical people whose work we recommend checking out.
Once the appropriate principle was found, we painted our hands blue and custom-made the card together with a set of mini-cards, that you may see around our studio or get in the mail one day.
Ultimately, this is an homage to magic and design, two universal languages we use in our work to bring surprise and delight to people’s lives.
